AWARDS

Two awards will be offered at this year's conference:

The Boydell and Brewer Award for the Best Poster Presentation at the Conference of Medieval and Renaissance Music 2024, University of Granada

As at last year's conference in Munich, the publishers Boydell & Brewer are offering an award of €100 in books to the poster presentation that receives the most votes during  the early evening session on Monday 8 July 2024.

Award in Memory of Lenka Hlávková (1974–2023)

This year the Med-Ren Conference is offering an award of €100 for the most promising paper given by an early-career scholar. Assessment will be made on the basis of both originality of content and presentation, and will be undertaken by the conference programme committee.

This award is made in honour of Lenka Hlávková who tragically lost her life at the end of last year while working at Charles University in Prague, where she served as the Director of the Institute of Musicology.
